Gaeilge Merlin Woods PS

 Féach ar 1A ag déanamh an Haka as Gaeilge. Tá siad réidh le haghaidh na cluichí rugbaí :) Look at 1A doing the Haka in Irish. They are all ready for the rugby games :) Maith sibh Rang 1A!!!

Take a look at the wonderful Seanfhocail pictures 5A class has created. A seanfhocal is an old Irish phrase that teaches one wisdom. For example: 'Bíonn an fhírinne searbh' =the truth hurts.   'Nuair a bhíonn an cat amuigh bíonn na lucha ag rince' =when the cat's away the mice will play. There are hundred's of examples of a seanfhocal.

  In Merlin Woods we are working hard to learn more and more Gaeilge all the time. In this blog you can see some of the things we have been doing throughout our school to learn Gaeilge.
